Here's what might happen.
The bomb undoes the cloaking of the island in '07 and...
Widmore sees it. He summons Desmond and whomever is on his side.
Paik sees it, too. It's a rush to the island by all parties, hence the war.
The sacrifice of Jacob sends the '77 island goes back in time to when it was created, or first seen by the Black Rock.
All the people now on the island are on the ship, reunited with Widmore, Desmond, etc.
The Black Rock sees the island, "again" but it's "for the first time". We replay the original shipwreck.
So the story is told from the very beginning on "one" island, and to the very end on the other.
