I've been rewatching lost on dvd and noticed something. Locke has a scar running down his right eye. I've always known this. But when locke returns as Jacobs nemesis, he doesn't have the scar. It isn't that big of a deal, but I thought it was interesting. any thoughts?

You're wrong! Look again. The scar is there. It's only more healed than in previous seasons cause it's been 3 yrs, you know.

In the second episode of John Locke's flashbacks, he says him and his brother used to play mousetrap all the time..

Locke has a twin?

I've also seen it talked about here somewhere (not sure by whom) that the scar actually shifts sides from one side of the face to the other (not sure if it is true?). I think someone metioned it in the mirror matter world thread? It would be interesting if it turned out that Locke's brother had a larger part to play in all of this than has previously been seen.

The only time I've noticed that it was gone was in the final scene of 'No Place Like Home'. Other than that I haven't taken the time to notice.

Yes, it has. And the mirror matter world does offer a good explanation for it. There are two timelines running simultaineously now...1977 and 2007. So, why can't they be mirror matter worlds?

they definately could be . but hey guys lockes brother was probably not his real brother it was probably another orphan at the foster home he was at . he does not have a biological brother . yet to be accounted for or mentioned . no other explanation unless they are just going to throw something like that at us with no time for a back story . could they ?

i will be very upset if they pull something like that because there has been a few characters that they never finished their backstory.

i doubt they will because that would make things go way over to left field. Lost has pulled some crazy stuff but that would be going off the deep end.
