Hey everyone,
I have a question about the flash forwards, do the characters see these visions? I am so confused...I always thought that the flashbacks were them reliving their past life away from the island, but now with the flash forwards I don't know if my original theory was wrong, or if they can now see what happens to them if they leave. For example, Hurley acted as if him seeing Charlie tell him that they need him effeted his decision to side with Locke, but then he sees that it was a bad decision, and that's why he told Jack he should have went with him instead.
I am interested to know which way the writer's or creators intended these flash forwards to be? Whether it is just a way for the audience to see what will having, giving us the extra information. Or if they characters are in fact seeing these flashes too, leaving both the audience and the characters confused on what the future holds?
