She just had surgery a few days ago to remove a tumor off of her brain. It was located on her Pituitary Gland and it totally jacked up her hormones and weight. They were able to remove most of it, but not all of it.

She is in recovery right now, but she will have to go back for a second surgery. Only this time, they will use radiation to shrink what's left of the tumor and go back in a third time to hopefully completely remove the tumor.

So, you can imagine the amount of pain she will be in, but I have been praying for her and I believe this process will benefit her for life. They did catch it early enough before it could become fatal.

Thanks so much and I love all of you! :p

My best wishes are with your friend and yourself. I don't know if this will comfort you at all, but the brain itself does not feel pain. I'm not saying that your friend isn't hurting. Of course surgery can be painful. All I mean is that perhaps it is just a little less than you might be thinking. At least, I hope so.

thanks a lot everyone! she is actually on her way home today. the doctors have her taking hormones so that she actually starts gaining weight like she's suppose too. i'll be going by her house tonight to see if her mother needs me to run some errands for her.
