Christian healed Jack's wife

Re-watching the series brings some new insights. I think it's fairly obvious that Christian is the one who healed Sarah, Jack's eventual wife. If you look at the faces Christian makes and the whole conversation they have about giving hope to patient I think it's fairly evident. Also remember that Jack was sure the operation wasn't successful and that Sarah would be paralyzed. So, I think the divine intervention here wasn't Jack, but Christian. And if this is true, what does this mean Christian's role on the Island is? He would seem to be working for Jacob, right? I still have much to re-watch, but I like how some things seem to stand out from early in the series.

All Christian did was tell jack to hand out some hope once in a while. Jack was known to not have the best bedside manner(as Hurley brought up right before or after they blew the hatch) but doesnt mean he was a brilliant surgeon. Christian as far as I am concerned is not working for Jacob regardless what he told JL and how he didnt want JL to let anyone know Claire was with him and just his actions on the Island. And dont forget, Jacob had touched Jack before he ever worked on Sarah so maybe the intervention was all Jacobs not Christian. Christian on the other hand was responsible for the death of the pregnant woman doing the operation while inebriated. Why was he unsuccessful in saving her life, no miracle there? As far as I am concerned there is going to be more to Jack than just the former "Camp leader" Achara said he was going to be a great Leader or meant to be one and I dont think we have seen that yet because on the Island he wasnt the believer in the Island that JL was. unfortunately it was that firm belief in the Island that made JL the prime candidate for Beachboy to use him for his plans of the "loophole" At least thats my perspective. We shall see

I dont think Christian is Christian to begin with. I believe its either MiB or Smokey if they arent one in the same. The scene where Jack is chasing who he thinks is his father through the jungle we see Jack look in one spot than walks behind a tree and sure enough as soon as he gets around the tree his father is magically there. Just like on the beach when his father is standing in the water fully dressed juststanding there staring at jack. Than Jack asks if(whoever he was talking to) sees that and looks back, no more Christian, he just disappeared. So I think Christian is not working for Jacob but pretending to be to get JL to be his loophole.
Now with regard to healing powers I never said it was jack who had healing powers but said possibly jacob did that. Or it was just one of those things as being a miracle. They do happen but on this show, there is a reason she was healed and the other guy died that he worked on. Maybe that needed to happen to get him where he was. Who knows but i dont think and dont recall saying it was Jack who magically healed Sarah. I just made the connection between the 2 that Jacob interacted with jack before he ever worked on Sarah so Jacob was aware of Jack and probably wha twas goign on. We know Jacob can heal. he healed Juliet's sister of her cancer, from what Ben said and proved so he could have made it possible for Sarah to move again.

You're probably right. Perhaps all the reincarnated people are smokey/Mib, but there is no reason for us to believe he can't heal as well. Him and Jacob seem to be the same kind of people (or aliens, or gods, etc.), so they may have the same exact powers.

Exactly my thoughts also!!! now with JL's death...he(it,Mib, Smokey) has JL's body to use instead of Christians...or if it isnt using the body, takes on the formation of the deceased.
