Just like LOST, "Goodbye" doesn't actually mean goodbye in Fringe. But still I was sorry to see Charlie die last night. I liked him, but I can see why the writers did it. Now, viewers won't get confused on who the writers intend for Olivia to be in love with, Peter.

No, they usually care something through the entire series that you have to figure out in addition to each episode.

Last year it was what looked like the end of the world as it relates to this alternative universe. Kind of "flashforward" like.
