I liked it. was a bt grittier then SG shows I am used to. not as much humor, but it was entertaining.

anyone else?

Please for the love of God don't compare it to Lost. Some other forums have done just that, and I can't see a comparison. I can see how some might have made comparisons (bunch of strangers thrust into a situation...mystery...ect) but I can't compare it to anything other then Battlestar and Star Trek Voyager.

just shooting the bull I guess out of sheer boredom. we'll see how it turns out.:o

It's hard to beat SG1 and so far nothing beats LOST. The combination of too many commercials and too many flashbacks made it tricky to follow. I still like it and think it has potential. I'll bet there are shorter commercials on Hulu. Yes - if it had shorter commercials and longer Amanda Tappings, it would improve greatly.

I enjoyed it. I never watched SG-1 much..only a few episodes, and Atlantis I've seen about 20 or so episodes. I enjoyed Atlantis whenever I watched it.

The only Lost comparison I can find is the show, at least the pilot, was focused on the characters. Which Lost is about 99% character driven.

I thought the pilot was good though. I'm glad the Senator character turned out the way he did. Every time I watched him it reminded me of Happy Gilmore.
