So the guy on the bus goes to the hospital for an operation that he wouldn't have needed if it weren't for the blackout. His vision saves him from dieing.
Olivia is becoming obsessed with the guy she saw in her flash which may be leading her in the direction she so desperately wants to avoid. If she hadn't seen him would she even give him a second thought?
Benford's vision gives him information that is a direct result of what he saw. Would he have ever created Mosaic if he hadn't seen it in his flash. Seeing the things on the bulletin board is what leads to them being in the first place.
Would any of these things happen if the people involved hadn't had the flash forwards?

I missed it tonight, but that pretty much summed it up, I guess. Thanks.

hey Boutte. I think its intersting how thye are doing all the things that will potentially lead them to their future as if they have no control over it.
Mark is doing everyting to see wha tgot him to that point in his vision and doesnt seem to be doing anything to not make it happen. OK well this example is not good because he is more determined to see who did this.
But Olivia is focusing on this guy who she is to have an affair with in her future. She is in a way drawing herself to him and because she is, its almost leading her right into his arms.
I like how they have the tray get thrown into the hallway in the ER right as she is walking past the room. Coincidence? Maybe but not probable.
You can almost say that what they did in Lost is the same to some extent. Knowing their future, they try to change it but end up doing what they did that got them in their future situations in the first place.
And if it is all about alternate worlds than it doesnt mtter what they did in the one world because the other world is noty going to be effected by the other.

Is FF like this?
In the Middle east a fable is told of a Baghdad merchant who sent his servant to the marketplace to run an errand. When the servant had completed his assignment and was about to leave the marketplace, he turned a corner and unexpectedly met Lady Death.
The look on her face so frightened him that he left and hurried home. He told his master what had happened and requested his fastest horse so that he could get as far away from Lady Death as possible. He needed a horse that would take him all the way to Sumera before nightfall.
Later that same afternoon, the merchant himself went to the marketplace and met Lady Death. "Why did you startle my servant this morning?" he asked.
"I didn't intend to startle your servant---it was I who was startled!" replied Lady Death. "I was surprised to see your servant in Baghdad this morning, because I have an appointment with him in Sumera tonight."

We are in good company, boutte!! "Great minds" thinking and all that!! BTW was there an Apollo candy bar in that vending machine someone got the snack out of? I didn't have time to really look--I was focused on that bag of whatever. Initially I thought the bus driver's FF would mean that he'd die on the table and they would give his heart to a black guy. HAH! They always manage to twist it, don't they?!! I noticed a lot of names in the credits for directing producing, etc, of people who worked on Lost. I even saw the name Van Eeghan flash by, or something similar. Lost was a jumping off place for many it seems. Nice to talk with you boutte!

I think when Dimitri actually does get killed than Mark ends up drinking out of guilt over his death, since he attempts to try to stop it and still dies.
