Well, the game comes out tomorrow, but through piracy, some people have already played and beaten it.
The general consensus it that the game is god aweful.
No exploration and completely linear.
As for action, you get to shoot one person and the controls are terrible.
The game should take no longer than five hours to complete.

That sucks!
There should be a full out war with the others.
I'll rent it just to learn more about the show

I don't know where he got his info on the game but it seems to be completely wrong. The game should take around 10-12 hours and most reviewers are saying that if you are a lost fan you should pick this up. Here are a couple links with some info on it.

Just finished the game about 20 minutes ago.
Cons: It's brutally short (finished in just under 3 hours of gameplay time...no replay value whatsoever), very linear, the ending is a huge kick in the bollocks*.
Pros: The styling of the game as if you're watching episodes of Lost (Including the "previously on Lost" bit...nice touch), the black smoke is shown quite a bit (sorry I just think it's cool as feck :P), you get to type in the numbers!:D, the character models are generally rather excellent (with one or two exceptions), the ending is a huge kick in the bollocks*
*I say this as both a pro and a con as, basically, the game finishes like every episode of Lost finishes...with a huge kick to the plums, only this time you don't get your next fix of the story the next week...you have to wait until they bring out the next game (which may not happen, given how short this one is...I foresee a pretty poor reception in the gaming community which, unfortunately, can dictate whether a game series lives or dies)
Possibly worth a rent, but to be honest there's not much gameplay to be had and there's videos of the full game walkthrough on youtube already which, to be honest, you'd be better off watching instead.

they said it wouldnt reveal to much groundbreaking info on the show, so its like the find815 games plot wise at least.

The ending potentially goes beyond "ground breaking" to the territory of "where did the ground go? Oh the ending to this game pummelled it so hard it ceased to exist. Poor ground...".
While the rest of the game is reasonably insignificant to the show...the ending most certainly has the potential for massive implications to the theories surrounding the island.

the big catch to the game is that you're supposed to able to fully explore the black rock, but to get to it you have to find some secret in the game. I think it takes place between seasons 2 and 3, and is more of a side story line with no impact on the show really. I was thinking about picking it up, but not at $60. It'll probably be one of those games you can find used for $20 in a few months.

That sucks its short! Orrr are you just a super hero when it comes to video games haha and thats why you finished it so soon?? ;) Your 3 hours would probably be equivalent to my 3 weeks LOL, but did the game have like a good storyline with it? I mean of course we KNOW the storyline already but I'm just wondering :) Thanks!

From what I read in interviews with Abrams and Lindeloff, they don't want to include this game as canon so as not to piss off people like princess. However, they provided the basic plot outlines and they seem to be kind of like creative consultants. They say you do get to explore the island a bit. they say if you ever wanted to look around the hatch, now you can. That kind of stuff. The developers say that ABC provided them with alot of details of the camp and the island layout. I dunno, looks like a worthy rental.

I can usually finish games in 2-3 days if I have time set aside to tackle them (it's like watching a movie for me...I don't like doing it in dribs and drabs...prefer to get the experience in as big chunks as possible) so it's definitely the shortest game I've played. The story is interesting though...if it was crap I'd have prob just turned it off, uninstalled it and never touched it again. And like I keep saying...massive "wtf" ending.
