I find it hard to believe, Jacob in great shape, In fact he doesn't age either! so it appeared. How he could be rendered helpless in one stab of a poorly place stroke of a deer knife. It folded up like a a rookie in a tuff man contest. Not to mention he appeared to thrust himself towards to danger. No flinching, or avoidance. Heck I flinch when I give blood.
It almost appear as if the Knife had Mystical Power to slay a Mystical being.

I don't attend funerals; however I have been to a couple. One thing you notice is that doesn't look much like your luv'd one laying inside that box. Just a couple a days after the expiration date. Yeah, we saw Ben take extreme steps to keep Lock on Ice, but umm.. I'm not expert but it doesn't take long for things to start changing fast. At the Statue: The Body they dumped on the ground look just like a live body playing dead.. yeah maybe the Island has him pickled but, that plane's cargo bay isn't below 34' Typically he would been out of the ice box for 1hr for the trip to the airport, an hour loading up, and maybe a couple hours flying.

Can you usher people around without them being embalmed?

My Man Richard, for him to be so important and so out of the loop? He marches Locke right up to Jacob as if he Mosses.. Yeah, know I think I would haven been on the Hot Line (Red Phone ) calling in to the boss for the ok?

Heck I have to ask my wife for my buddies to come over...
if Jacob has a enemy, wouldn't the one person that would know.. would be Richard, Seriously with age come much wisdom..... I kept wondering if he was a bottle brunette.
this doesn't add up..
Id have to TRUMP Fire Richard.. unless it was the Plan all along..

Ben, poor 0 Ben, He gets wacked on more than the coyote, Man people just don't take that kinda of abuse.. and smart people with half a brain surly don't. My old man use to tell me, "Son" in life you can sale two things; your back or your mind. Ben was overly and obviously Intelligent, not to mention studious.
I don't see him taking on so much responsibility with out an agenda. He isn't not letting on to something.. If fact of all the acting he done up to now, that last scene just look unbalanced.. as if he was putting on a bad acting job.
I think he was in on the whole Jacob stabbing. Between Richard and Ben, they had the secret Island Knowledge and should have been in the same circle of Knowledge as it came to doing Jacob's will. Jacob's "will" is one of the main focus of the story as perceived by the others.

How he could just let Ben pass without Richard insisting he come along in the statue.. Not sure I would have handled that situation that way unless I was sure of no danger could come to Jacob. I see Richard being in major debt to Jacob for his mortality.. I think there is some misdirection attempts in that whole leading up to the stabbing.

Island heal whom it wants. But it blew Ben away that the Island never healed him? It healed him once, but after that its like he used up his frequent flier miles on that one treatment.
The agenda of selecting to whom is healed is important.

The Bomb didn't explode because the island needed it for the future... unfortunately they buried it in the wrong place.
seeing as the they use it to revert the time line, that would be too easy... instead I see it the whole time line sink thrown back to the Blackrock. The Blackrock manifest it the key to understanding the current players.
That weather sure looked Nice and peaceful as it was sailing by. Kind of strange how it got way inland on the Island. It should have been loaded down with gold. what happen to all that GOLD.

Just My thoughts...

Well I'll be...

Does this rant remind anyone else of a ranting skydiver we used to have in this section of the forum? Granted, the previous one had far less spelling mistakes, but it could all be a mask, like that of a witch doctor. ;)
