play the video, see the poster for the lost art show in LA.

note the 16th special print has not yet been revealed and we do not how or when or if it will be revealed before this show.

can you make out what is in the box?

15 Will be lost, the 16th Will be found.

It's a blur to me...

What does " frame 16" mean?

see here: http://damoncarltonandapolarbear.com/dcpb/x/

the screen prints. you've seen them. i swear you have commented on them. commission by tptb from modern young artists on the scene. 300 of each, signed and numbered, less then 200 sold. clues every week, to find url and try hard to buy the print.

the 16th is the last one. it had before this clue a red question mark in the frame rather then black like the others. and the phrase at the beginning was "15 Will be lost, the 16th Will be found." we are at the 16th.

this is the viral from which the LA X spoiler came from.

Did I hear that on a LOST commercial? 15 will be lost, the 16th will be found. It is so familiar sounding.

the original phrase is from like 2 months ago when this started, so you have probably heard me say it hear. but i have not yet seen a commercial like that. of course, i would not be surprised if that happened. it must mean something, and the "Will" is capitalized.

I've been following it. I understand. :)

But I wondered if the 16th frame was some sort of clue...
16th frame vs the 16th print

The 16th frame of the video?
I'm reaching, I know... but I know there are a ton of people doing the same. :D

oh yeah! we've all been going nuts with the "clues" - which may not even be clues.

Okay, that's where I heard it then, thanks. I hate riddles!
Okay, so now I am wondering if the Will is a persons will. Maybe this story has already or will have gone around 15 times and it will be the 16th time in season 6 where it all comes to a head. 15 Will die (15 times around the time loop with no success) and the 16th Will live. The 16th time around and they succeed finally? IDK. Like I said, I hate riddles.

Yes, it looked like either 4 toes or the Annie statue. I couldn't tell. Some are brown and some dark gray? The colors made me think of artillery almost. Weird but kinda cool! :)

Ok, what does it mean?:o:D

They looked like Egyptian statues to me. The one on the far end is Anubis, I am almost positive. The one in the middle, it's small and I couldn't make it out. The one on the near end looked Egyptian and it was familiar but I can't place it. It's gonna bug me now. Anyway, that's what I think was there. Perhaps they are chess peices...hahaha

Oh geez, enough said!! You have to go!! If there is a chance to be in the same room with him, you gotta go!! Besides, I bet it would be the best one yet. It's the very last one ever, right? They'll go all out. Lucky girl! :)

maybe. but also cause jensen is a big name with the type of artists involved, pop art, screen prints and the like. even if 1988 is not a relevant date, the idea of a throw back pop art era certainly fits in with lost.

you guys are totally right. i should go! weeeeeee:D

I just copied a still frame of those statues into my Paint program and enlarged it. It's pretty grainy but the statue in back is Anubis. I am about 99% sure of that. I still can't tell the one in the foreground. It is really blurred but is familiar. An egyptian statue with a long skirt (longer than what the four toed statue had on) and one of those crown type, solid helmets that looks like long hair. I am not describing it well at all. I have to look through some pictures of egyptian gods now and see if I can find something like it.I'm not sure what's in the middle. It may be an ankh but I can't be sure.

Yes, you must go...that is a lost.com order!!!! lol!!!!

Edit: Either Anubis or Taweret. I just looked some more and inverted the colors.

OMG. they sell out in SECONDS, and i am not exaggerating at all. Its nearly impossible to get one, AND people are flipping them SUCCESSFULLY on ebay for upwards of $700 or $800!

they are limited edition, original silk screen prints that are signed and numbered, but man... its crazy. there are lLost fans and then each artist has a fan base. lots of fighting between the two, let me tell you...

i am lucky to have three. :D and they really are VERY cool in person. the colors, the texture, the signature.

the swan, the triangle, and the barracks. i those are three prints people dislike the most! i have a collection of "red headed step children," so to speak.* :)

but i like them.

*no offense to redheads or stepchildren.

the triangle? which one is that? the one where jack is watching kate and sawyer at dharma? i like that one actually. i think it's pretty cool. i like the barracks too, such nice colours. the swan, not so much.

but the ones i dislike the most are the polar bear, the bus, and the numbers - go figure. i really hate how Hurley is done in that one, it doesn't even look like him.

hurley wasn't anyone's favorite either. actually, i should say the hurley print was not, but hurley of course is a favorite. he is too cartoonish and unhurley like in that orint.

yes, thats the triangle.

the colors of the swan in person are pretty amazing.

Actually, I don't like the one with the statue either. It's too plain. But I totally wish I had the crash one. Sawyer is awesome in it. :D

I love and want them all. Just because of the subject matter, and that some very talented artists have focussed their creative energy on it. Whether they grab my first impressions or not, I'm sure they would all be as dear to me, if I had them.

The "red-headed step-children" probably even more so in the end, just because that's the way it normally works out when I get buy an album -- I normally end up liking those songs I liked least initially, more in the end, once I'm 'forced' to listen to them.

EVERYBODY wants the crash. there are only a few lucky ones who have it. the WORST part is that when this began, they would not sell out for hours, days even. i was there for the crash, when it was revealed. I thought about it. i had time to think about it. but, i thought, better ones would come along. and i certainly could not justify buying every single one or even every single one i likes. so i passed. Then, the flippers showed up and all hell broke loose. oh well. my bad.

i really like the ones I have.

now we just need to solve the last one before the art show.

paul sheer did an interview with the lost writers at the washington post. he said we all missed a huge clue and that the 16th poster will not be revealed at the same time as the lost art show. he said we had to follow the clues.

he also said that he would be at the art show in LA and intimated that perhaps LindeCuse will as well. sigh. I really want to go, but now have all this work to finish byt he 17. what are the odds that i will be organized and productive enough to get all my work done by the 15th?

chester i am the same way with music too.

go rach, go.

i understand exactly what it's like to think better ones will come, and not realizing that you will have to fight for them. that's like the only one i would really, really want, but i couldn't have either one of them, so moo. ;)
