Jack's dilemma may be that he cannot return to the island-EVER! Is he still alive on the island and off the island? Is he like the 2 bunnies in the Halliwax you tube video shorts.? If he goes back to the island will he and his twin occupy the same space, the way the one bunny started to rematerialize in a threatening way for the scientist and his aide? What happened in that lab has to do with why the others are on the island, why babies conceived there always die,why Jacob cried Help Me, (he cannot die?) Why Halliwax freaked in the lab, Why Ben wants the Economist dead (a bioethicist who is either for or against experiments about living forever?) ,and why there's so much money invested. So you say you want to live forever?Kate does not want to leave the present and neither do Hurley or Sayid. Is Lost about something way beyond cryogenesis ?Hurley may feel safe in the nut house -safe from the island! Is Ben just stringing Sayid along? Just some random thought after watching the You tube shorts. See the thread about why Jack doesn't go back by himself!

it seems 'bearded' jack's inability to get back to the island drives him crazy/suicidal. 'clean-shaved' jack seemed so smug during his fabricated testimony at kate's trial, but after that it seems the wheels come off. it will be fun to watch. i'm not a fan of jack. he is a weenie.

Liking Jack less and less, same for Locke.
Liking Ben more and more (maybe he IS the good guy!)
