Interesting, but as far as I know, Smokey attacked Locke, Ecko and the plane captain (maybe, or polar bear). And it has chased Kate a couple of times (once with Juliette). Only Claire got innoculations and I think Desmond did also in the hatch. Who else?

That would have had to be one huge polar bear to snatch the captain out of the plane and they drop him up in that tree. :)

I think the others never really worried about smokie because it never crossed the "electric fence" or whatever it was. When they were on the other side of the fence they just had to deal like a soldier deals with being in enemy territory. Suck it up and do your job! ;)

It also seems that you have problems when you get in its way (Locke, Ecko). If you get out of its way, it tends to just move on.
