Frequently used words/ phrases

JJ and Damon do nothing on accident. I think the repeated words and phrases are a clue or hold some meaning beyond the obvious. How many times have you heard Locke say"don't tell me what I can and cannot do" or some variation of that. I'm pretty sure I've heard other people say it, too. Also- they say "the others" quite a bit - I'm not talking about THE others - I mean when refering to their own people. How about Desmond's"see ya in another life,brotha"? Maybe if we put them all together we can figure out the meaning of life...:eek:

Locke says that because he used to be handicapted. It is a call back to his original flashback when he could not get on the bus for the walkabout.

I just started to rewatch shows from season one i have heard a few times
" Everything happens for a reason" from Locke, Charlie and Jack. so there is another one to add to the list.
