Why Jack Why??

I found this coversation to be interesting.

KATE: I know why you don't want to see the baby, Jack. But until you do...until you want to, there's no you and me going for coffee. But um...if at anytime you change your mind, come and see us.

JACK: Yeah. Okay

Why doesn't Jack want to see Aaron? He must be ashamed of the way Kate came to have Aaron. He was most likely a big part of it as well. Ya' think? Also, it seems to me that Aaron is a very special kid. The moment that Charlie dies, out of nowhere Aaron starts crying as if he felt a disturbance in the force like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

My theory is Kate took Aaron from Claire, and Jack knows it.

A lot of people think Aaron is special because he was born on the island, but Alex was born on the island and she doesn't seem special. There's no proof that being born on the island makes one special as far as I can see so it's just speculation for now.

Maybe Jack discovers that Clarie is his sister and Aaron is his nephew and seeing him reminds him of his issues with his father.

could be part of the reason, but I think there has got to be something deeper behind it. There have been a few posts stating that perhaps claire dies somehow and Jack feels responsible therefor can't deal with seeing her child.

I'll see your "Jack knows it" and raise to "Jack participated in Kate taking Aaron from Kate". That's about the only scenario where Jack wouldn't want to see Aaron that makes sense to me.

you know i think that jack killed clair for some reason (yet unknown) and he couldnt stand being around the child of the woman he killed ( when i say jack killed her i dont mean in cold blood, maybe he had to make a decision between getting off the island and claire? like on the helicopter leaving teh island? like clair slipped and she was affecting something with the chopper, that if she wasnt dropped or whatever that the chopper would crash, and perhaps kate was holding aaron whilst she fell,for some stupid reason like she went to go grab something and couldnt hold aaron while doing it? i dont know for sure just a thought, i think if jack killed claire it would be a big shocker for viewers, thats why i believe the creators would choose that)

i don't think that jack knows claire is his sis...i think that he is a good enough man that if he knew it was his nephew....he would jump on it...get it on with kate and help raise his nephew.......i think that there was an accident or not with her death on the island and he feels he could have prevented it...he has guilt and jack can't stand feeling guilty or being around anything that makes him feel that way

My vote is that Jack IS going to be responsible for taking the baby from the island. I don't think Clair is going to be killed, but she is going to have Aaron taken from her by a plan Jack or Jack and Ben comes up with to leave the island. Ben is going to have to leave the island to clean up the mess that this R.C. guy is causing. so Ben leaves so he can protect the island. Jack will go along so to protect the rest of the people left behind.

i dunno...the writers have admitted that someone we all love will die this season....someone on one of these threads had an interesting theory too that people die off in twos.....esp when they are connected.....boone...then shannon....pablo and his chick......charlie....and claire???

I dont think that Claire is dead but maybe their had to be a choice. Maybe between Mom and baby. There could be a war on the island now that the groups split like a civil war. Claire might be held there. That could be why Charlie appeared to Herley and said they need you. And when Jack visited Herley (playing horse) Herley said you came cause you thought I would slip. Maybe they are still on the island. There is a reason why Jack wants to go back cause he feels the need to fix things. There must be more for him to fix. It is driving him crazy that he left under certain conditions. Just a thought.

Well let's say that maybe Jack feels guilty because he had to decide between saving Claire or saving Kate and he chose Kate.

thats probably the most logical thing ive read about that......
it would explain the reason why jack needs to go back.....and kate doesnt want to.
