Did we ever find out why he came running in to see and talk to her?

MIKHAIL: What else do you know about this woman? Did she have anything on her besides the flare gun.

HURLEY: Just a book, fancy radio phone thingy.

[Charlie shakes his head as Mikhail turns to Hurley]

MIKHAIL: Does it work?

HURLEY: Like I'd tell you.

MIKHAIL: One of you must help. The rest clear the way, I need space.

DESMOND: I'll do it.

MIKHAIL: Wipe away as much of the blood as you can.

[The parachutist begins to struggle for breathe]

MIKHAIL: We need to evac the air now! Hold her steady. Steady!

DESMOND: Yeah I heard ya!

[Mikhail stabs the women in the chest with a funnel and blood suctions out of her]

DESMOND: Is that, normal?

[He pulls out the funnel, and the parachutist screams with pain]

MIKHAIL: [Inaudible, possibly “Those!”. Desmond grabs some material and places it on the wound] Tape it, be careful. [Inaudible, possibly “Cabirin”] needs to be hollow, the wound needs to breathe.

PARACHUTIST: [Speaks Portuguese – “I am not alone. I am not alone”]

DESMOND: What did she say?

MIKHAIL: Thank you. She said thank you for helping me.

Mikhail went to see Ben after this encounter to report about Naomi. I think it's after Charlie is captured in the looking glass that Ben sends Mikhail down there.

He only went to the looking glass to kill the two ladies there and the unsuspecting Charlie. or, maybe he knew Charlie was going to be there. Either way, Ben sent Patchy there to keep the station quite, oh yeah, and kill everyone there.

I don't think Mikhail went there to see Naomi specifically. I think Mikhail was on his way back to his camp after being left for dead by the sonic fence. On his way to his camp Patchy probably saw the flare Hurley accidentaly fired and went to investigate. From there he saw the survivors and tried to run away before Jin stopped him and he was brought back.

I'm just posting this in here because I don't know where else to post haha...can someone answer this, did the bomb fall in the hole where the hatch was being built in 1977? Is that were they had initially buried it and filled it with concrete?
