I've thought about doing it but haven't yet - wouldn't it be the freakiest thing ever if you won with those numbers???

I've thought about it ...
But, I doubt I will play them.
I don't want to be responsible for Trisha Tanaka's demise!

No, we'd be fine, it'd only be the annoying people who'd get hit :)

I thought about it once and decided there are probably 100 other people playing the Lost numbers. You'd have to share it so many ways that winning wouldn't be worth much. But maybe I'm wrong. Perhaps we'll find out from the responses here.

I'm with james. Thought about it, but then realized how many other people play those numbers.

Not smart to play numbers others are likely to play.

There was a case of some fortune cookie numbers winning and it got split a ton of ways.

Lottery tickets are only worth around 50 cents(on the dollar) to begin with. If you aren't playing for the entire jackpot amount it gets even worse.
Though tickets can theoretically become worth more than the $1 value if the jackpot goes unwon for long enough. However, I haven't seen that happen yet(I calculated the necessary amount).

I did. I didn't win with them or even come close to getting any of the numbers so I didn't use them anymore.

I recently got my parents interested in Lost...and they've been watching the first season.

My dad is an avid lottery player, plays every day and he told me the other day that he plays the lost numbers (daily, if not weekly).

I about flipped out on him. I've always talked with my friends about how you have to be out of your mind to play those numbers, like you are just tempting fate. I told him I wouldn't have any part of his winnings if he won.

I'm too scared to play them, but apparently there are still people connected with the real world to realize Lost is just a tv show...

nope, don't play them, just let the computer pick my numbers. If I would use those numbers, I would have to play every drawing, because the day that I missed would be the day that they would hit...

Ah yes, I'm like that too, I forget to play! I get really annoyed when I pay for a lottery ticket and then don't win - it's a disgrace!

I've never understood why people would make an investment into something with such poor odds. Statistically, nearly every single person who has ever played the lottery came out worse off than they would have been had they not played. There are so many other things you can do with your dollar that will provide you with a better guaranteed return than the lottery. I hate to say it but it truly is the idiot's tax.

HAHAHA Yeah I'll play it when I remember to do it, if you're not in you can't win! I just dream about not having to work and going on holidays all the time, and every time I play the lotto I think I'm gonna win!

I've thought about it and then decided to look up, on the lottery website, how often they were played and it was something like 16,000 times per drawing.

The closest they had come to winning was 3 of the #'s. I decided to play my normal numbers and lost...

The investment is small compared to the return ($1 per ticket -- millions cash prize).

Anyhoo, i tried the numbers once and all I won was a coconut j/k:D
