I'm more of an 80's s**t rocker, love rock/metal/music in general.. Listening to the just released Bon Jovi Greatest hits... To me u can't go wrong with 80's rock/glam/metal.. JMO tho.. :D

Been a drummer for 24 years guitarist for 12 now.. Here's an OLD video of my old band Tripline... Yep thats me on drums we had the vid shot as we recorded songs in the studio... :cool:

I would agree except I'm not good at history. I can never remember exact dates. :P All I know is I like bands like the Talking Heads, the Beatles, the Doors, Guns n Roses, Queen, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, etc. The only more recent stuff I've been able to listen to are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Oasis, and even then they're still kinda old. I would agree except I'm not good at history. I can never remember exact dates. :P All I know is I like bands like the Talking Heads, the Beatles, the Doors, Guns n Roses, Queen, Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, etc. The only more recent stuff I've been able to listen to are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Oasis, and even then they're still kinda old. Lady Kaka and Justine Beiber and others like them are ruining music.

The problem is that you used to be able hear the good new stuff on the radio. You can't do that anymore. It's out there somewhere.

I dunno, there is a classic rock station where I live, but still, with websites like youtube it's just much easier to do that than to sift through stuff you doon't like. And now with mp3 players and Ipods, you can take them wherever and not have to listen to radio ga ga.

Very nice. Nice clean sound, not over produced like so much of what you hear across all genres these days.

The Strangles are a great Brit band from the 70's.... I agree that stuff is just way to clean and over produced today... modern music much like film.. at least, like you say the stuff that gets radio play, is now just a product.. boring, predictable and emotionless.... money, money, money, no soul.

Of course, like everything it's all down to personal taste but there is good modern music out there, you just have to find it. I have a theory about this... don't advertise the quality and talent, real talent is hard to come by, that way the kids don't hear anything good and will buy any old trash. It stops them developing in their 'musical ear'... if people realize that the stuff they are constantly fed is in fact rubbish they won't buy it. Same as my argument about American film ( sorry guys ), it's a product to sell.. got to keep the wheels of greed turning.. at the loss of art, who care's as long as we get our Starbucks.

I love this guy a real crowd pleaser.. I saw him live on the pyramid stage at Glastonbury a couple of years ago... he showed these 'new' bands what real music with heart and soul is all about, the crowd just loved him.

Jeremy have you ever used VLC media player? You p,lay dvds and record clips using it. It's free and works much better than WMP. It does screen caps too.

Ah, yeah. Sorry I forgot to mention. I must be getting old. :P They're from a sort of recent game titled NieR, which is set in a post apocalyptic world, only it's fantasy rather than sci-fi.

I'm not sure the opening alone could do it justice, but it's the best I can do at describing it.

Cool thing about the music is that the lyrics are only based off of various languages and made to fit in the "futuristic" setting. I'm not sure whether they have any actual meaning but it's interesting to think about.
