It's been almost a year since we've been tearing our hair out screaming that we need to know what happens next. We counted the months, the days, the hours. And now it's here. We watched "The Incident" hoping we'd get another scene. "No, it's about to end! It can't end here!!" But end it did, leaving us not only wanting more, but needing more!
It seemed like it would never get here. It was so far away. "2010?! That's a whole year away!!" Then, "Wait... we have to wait until February?!" Patience may not be one of our best virtues! Yet here we are. We made it! And hell, we'll still have to wait weeks before certain things are answered for sure, so patient we need still be. Hopefully what we are given tonight will satiate our appetites just enough.
Let us not take for granted these small joys in life. For better or worse, this is what we've waited for and wanted for oh so long.
We, like those people on the island, started off as strangers, and here we are connected. Like they must ask, so should we: "why are we here?" It is destiny? Perhaps. But here we are.
