Ok very good point in another thread..The new Locke did not use the old Lockes phyiscal body...Well Christian was not found..Sayid is dead, but alive..could a difference be in Jacobs have something to do with this????

Think about it..Christian was in Jacobs cabin alot that had the powder around it...Which would be the Jacob that is dead...Well now Sayid is in an area surrounded by the powder and is now alive again...

The only difference I can think of is not everyone sees Christian..But Locke did see him before leaving the island..So he can be seen by normal alive people...

I do not know..Just out loud thougt

The circle of ash is for protection from the smoke monster. It cannot cross it for some reason. It is an old ritual actually.

Christian is Christian. That is why his body has disappeared from the flight to LAX. Christian is on the island in 2007. He is some kind of guide in time. I think the Shephard bloodline is very important.

One thing we now know for certain is that Christian in Jacob's cabin IS NOT SMOKIE because there was an ash circle around the cabin. Lostpedia verifies that there was always a ring around the cabin in all of the epis taking place in 2004.

The reason Jacob couldn`t be seen by normal people was because he was dead. The reason I think Locke could see Christian was because he was alive or reserrected. I belive in a simuler matter as Sayid. Question is. Who brought Christian to the Temple? I think Jacob did personaly.

I'm wondering if the cabin was the place where Jacob used to live OR the place where MiB was kept "in chains", metaphorically speaking.

Notso I am just curious that when I talked about something and used LP you said its only cannon to what is known at the time.

But here you speak as if without a doubt the ash ring was intact the whole time in 2004.

So I dont believe that it was intact and the evidence tends to point to it not being intact.

Nothing is shown to prove without a doubt that the ring was intact when Ben and locke went.

But we do have Ilana say that Jacob hasnt been there for a while and that someone else has been using it.

Think this is more evidence than speculation based on what is being discussed.

The camera showed a very small part of the ash and not the enitre ring

I am willing to bet that it wasnt intact and that Jacob did not say "help me" but Smokey did.

Once again to make Locke think he was Special and Ben was "out"..

So i guess according to your theory, Jacob picks the "pathetic" one who was a sad person, to be the Leader of the Others?

So I am not taking what is mentioned is LP as absolute but will let what I am seeing on the show be my guide

I will stick to my theory until proven differently on the show
