Very Very good episode. I dont think we ever learned so much from one episode before. I think Penny's dad buying the Ledger from the Black Rock can lead us to assume he is the one financing the freighter. Which would obviously mean that the group on the freighter is not their to rescue the survivors at all. They are trying to turn some sort of profit from the secrets of the island. Now we just need to find out who ben's guy on the boat is.

I totally agree.....and this was an awesome episode... also...ive said it before....I really think its Michael on the boat....specially now when Mencowski or however you spell it said "you must have a friend on the boat", when the door was opened

Someone opens the door, Sayid fixes the phone, Desmond remembers the number and Penny answers the phone call from Desmond who is calling from "not Penny's boat!"

My first official jawdropper of the season!! And perhaps my favorite of the series!

What a great episode! I still think Micheal is on the freighter. And Widmore getting the Black Rock's ship log? Wow. And the phone call...the phone call!!

Does this mess up the theories as to which regular dies later on this season? A lot of people think it will be Claire, but the this episode and the previews show it could be someone else (Juliette?).

Gawd, I wanna watch that again!!!!!!!!

If there's anyone I would go STRAIGHT for, it'd be Juliette....something about her stirs my gay wiles into a frenzy - I'd kiss that b**** in a heartbeat.

And I did tear up during the phone call as well. I have no idea who the friend on the freighter is...but good God if it's Michael that's just bad TV. I don't really like him and would have no sympathy for him - if he's a bad guy though, that's cool. :D
