So here we go.
Remember our discussions about Black Rock and how the F did it end up on the Island? We see in this episode that the Island has been submerged underwater. We know it time travels. I think this is how the Black Rock ends up on the island. The Black Rock will be sailing randomly in the Pacific and somehow the island will rise right underneath it and the ship will be right in the middle.

So you are saying the island, with it's rotting New Otherton and everything else being submerged, will just pop up having had the BR sink on it? How could this be? New Otherton was obviously built way, way after the BR was near the island.

im confuddled again. i know there are theories about the island reappearing underneath the black rock when it was moving through time.
but i dont think the island submerged is happening along with the crash and yet the black rock was there before even that as danielle was visiting it way before our losties arrived.

I don't care if it's when Locke turned the wheel (which I think it is) or if the island re-emerges from this whatever the heck is going on.
All I care about is that it "Reverse Bloops!"
Let me be right, for once in my life, dammit! :D

Well think of this.
Island's start underwater correct? Usually they emerge from volcanic eruptions (mentions of volcanoes on LOST with DI) Maybe the bomb going off has caused the 'ISLAND' to be reset or reborn in its life, the bomb's reset might not have had anything to do with the losties reseting their future but instead reseting the island.
The structures that are built by human hands aren't reset but maybe the island is?"
I dont know I liked the idea when I thought of it! ha

LOL....My husband and I talked about the possibility of reverse when the losties when back to '77. Basically at that point, they were in reverse. We thought maybe our Losties caused things to happen backwards...like, getting the statue built. Butterfly effect, but backwards. Is this what you are suggesting? Or are you meaning something totally different? I haven't read your 'reverse bloop' theory! But I love the name!!! :)

"Moving" the island makes it disappear... it should reappear, wherever it's moved to.
Locke, I'm guessing, fixed the wheel in the 1880's, which makes it pop up, underneath the Black Rock.
That's why it's beached in the middle of dry land.
"Reverse Bloop!" :D

That's exactly why I use the phrase... makes me smile, too. :D
And trust me... I'm an idiot.
I guarantee you are right way more than I am. :)
