I've scrolled through all the threads and I can't not find one for the translation of the Japanese (???) talk! I'm shocked! It's been a whole day since the epi aired.... anyone know what temple guy was saying yet?

I'm guessing most was translated correctly, the only part I really want to know is when they are talking about the water and he says something and Lennon guy doesn't translate at all.

In Fear and Trembling Kierkegaard introduces the "Knight of Faith" and contrasts him with the "knight of infinite resignation". The latter gives up everything in return for the infinite, that which he may receive after this life, and continuously dwells with the pain of his loss. The former, however, not only relinquishes everything, but also trusts that he will receive it all back, his trust based on the "strength of the absurd".

stuff in brackets with a ~ like (~ ) is a more natural english way of saying it, but is not exactly what he says in Japanese.
