It does appear to me now, No matter what the losties do, they are going to end up back on the island. I see the course correction already setting up.

Maybe they have to sail to it in Desmond's yacht, so Jack can dive under, turn the wheel, and lift the island up....:D

Is possiable that jack fixes Locke in the new time line? Ie. Fixes Ben on the Island?

I think they are already on the Island. They time skipped to 2007 and joined Lapidus and Sun group.

My impression of this plane landing at LA X is something completely different than what the majority are theorizing.

Not real at all and I think the hint was when we saw Jack and Sawyer out cold in the jungle when found by Kate.

If i am correct, remember them being out cold. In fact Iam guessing they all were at one point

Remember that the ORIGINAL plane left Australia in 2004, so that is WHEN the plane in LAX is also. I think that no matter what they will end up on the island...there is only one end...everything before that is just progress.

I'm just going to stick with my thought that the plane we saw and the island under water is actually the ending to the show. At least until I deside i like another answer better, lol.

That will be a bizarre ending.

The Island is destroyed, buried for good and they just go about their life somehow back in 2004 all with some type of dejavu?

I think that would be a bad ending for me.

Would hate to see that.

I could deal with that as an ending, how they get there is what would make it good or not.

You're only assuming that the plane is in 2004. It might be in 2007 this time. If the timeline is altered, then they may not get on the plane until three years later!
