The numbers popped up a few times.
Faraday tells Desmond to tell 1996 Faraday to set his machine to 2.342 (this is of course...23 & 42 from the famous 6 numbers).
Also, the lot number for the Black Rock journal in the auction house was lot number 2342.
There were a lot of numbers going on in that scene on the bidding paddles themselves but I saw nothing of interest among them - unless I'm missing something.
Note: Penny's phone didn't contain any of the 6 numbers.

Widmore's bidding paddle was number 755. that's all I know....I know it means nothing to us right now, but it probably will soon enough

I tend to think so too - because the camera stayed on it for way longer than necessary...more than once.
I'm a Mathematican/Physicist by trade and numbers are my life - finding connections and patterns in things. I'm already working on 755 in conjunction with 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42. :D

Good one - definitely true. Which showcases an oddity you may not have considered...
423 of course contains 4 and 23 - two of the 6 numbers.
Also, if you start at the 2, advance to the right, wrapping around to the 4 again - you can reconstruct 2-3-4-2!

WOW!! Got the 2.342 and got Pennys address of 423. I was thinking 42 and 23 but didnt get the 2-3-4-2. Its so crazy how the numbers figure out everywhere.
