I am new to this board. I can't get enough of Lost. I have been LOYAL since DAY ONE! Never gave up on it. Tivo it, rewind it, watch it again. LOVE IT.
Anyways, two things. Reading these posts, everyone seems to comment that they are going to get rescued now. I think they are going to ward off this group of "intruders" and much more is going to happen. Obviously.
Also, in the gym, when Hurley was playing basketball, He asked Jack, or vice versa, have to rewatch, "so are you going to tell"
what does that mean??
I am interested in finding out anyones thoughts to this.

i agree i don't think they end up getting off with Niomi's people.... i think there is a lot more of them on the island to come
It seems that the 6 that got off the island either by choice or force maybe had to make some deal in order to keep the people left behind safe,it also seems that they had to tell the world they were the only survivors.

Obviously they can't talk about what happened on the island. Oceanic 6... it means that people (outside the island) only know of 6 survivors. Remember what Naomi said when she was found: "none of flight 815 survived, they found the plane with all it's passenger". The 6 have obviously made a deal and they cannot talk about it... more than that people are watching them to make sure they don't talk (remember the black dude at the mental hospital who talks to hurley in the last episode).

I would be surprised if they get rescued this season. I mean, I know theres a deadline for them( the show's producers have said so), but I don't think it's going to be this year.

all of the previews say, some will leave, some will stay. I just think it will be around episode 8.

Yah I seriously doubt they are going to get off the island just like that...I mean it took 3 years to even get to where we are at now, I think we're going to have an entire season of flashforwards before we see them actually get off the island. And who's to say the freighters are the ones who get them off? Hahaha like I keep saying, I'm still holding on to the theory that Locke hid the submarine somewhere before the explosion, but thats my wishful thinking :p
