Compass in the helicopter

Did anyone notice that the drawn compass taped on the instrument panel had east and west switched. North and South were OK, but I swear east and west were switched. East was on the left and west was on the right while north was on top and south was on the bottom. I may be wrong...

Have you also noticed that the pilot was told to follow a bearing of 325, but the paper said 305?

Daniel just tells him to follow "the same exact bearing we came in on, no matter what".. he doesn't actually say the bearing.

I think you might be confusing that with the bearing that Ben told Michael to follow?

The field around the island might be different between the water and the altitude the helicopter is flying at.
