While reading other posts about the possibility that we are seeing Flocke's cave and that Flocke wants to go home and is recruiting.... What if the names we see on the wall are not Jacob's but are Flocke's? What is he IS recruiting for a replacement for himself. Would that mean he wants someone to take his place so that he can go "home"? Perhaps the only way he can leave is if someone takes his place. I think of this in parallel to the hatch where Desmond takes the place of Kelvin in the hatch. So maybe the idea is for Sawyer to take the place of Flocke. I also suspect that although he will be tricked into it he will have to be of Sawyer's free will. Kinda perfect for a con man who tricked people into making a choice that they thought was their own.

Well, this certainly is a twist. hmm... IDK! But I'm bumping this thread because there are some wise peeps here whom I am hoping will read this and offer their input.

I believe this is being discussed in an other thread. It's certainly possible but I don't believe it to be either Flocke's or Jacob's cave. Maybe some sort of meeting place? Neutral territory?

When the ladder broke and Flocke SAVED Sawyer my first thought was is this something he has to do is save someone?
Next is that the ladders were quite old looking so I was wondering if MIB/Flocke/Smokie goes there while in "flight" and doesn't use the old ladders.
Why did Lenny lead Hurley there and also didn't Libby and Hurley go there too?

I got the impression it was a set up by Flocke to win Sawyer over -you know, if he could accidentally on purpose "save" his life.

I dont think locke wants to leave the island, I doubt he and sawyer are going to go off and have drinks somewhere. I think he wants to be on the island he just wants everyone else, including jacob to be gone. then he will truly be "home"
