Jacks Dad

Alright, we all know that Jacks dad died and Jack was retrieving his body when the original flight went down. Did anybody else catch this though. In the flash forward scene where the new chief surgeon is grilling Jack on whether he has been drinking or not Jack tells him to go upstairs and get his dad and if he has had more to drink than his dad then he can fire him. Am I missing something? Also, it is Sawyer in the coffin.

Yah I think Jack's dad might still be around possibly just because even when he goes to the pharmacy to get his oxycodone prescription filled he says that it was issued by his father Christian Shepard. There's no way after all this time he'd still have a valid prescription from his father, but who knows with this show haha.

And how do you know it's Sawyer in the coffin? I think it really could be anyone at this point, I'm leaning more towards Locke.

Have u noticed that the airline lady who give JACK the 2 extra bottles of liquor in the 1rst episode of the 1rst season is also the lady who tells LOCKE that the others think hes special in the 3rd season....WHATS UP WITH THAT????...who is SHE???

ok look i have been thinking you know in oner of the flashes jack was talking to a dr in the hospital he said get my father down here and if i'm more messed up then he is I'll go home or something like that. I belive his father has something to do with the island. I also belive that the number 108 might come up some where. it's the NUMBERS 4/8/15/16/23/42 added together. my other theory would be I think it might be Ben in the coffin Remember Jack said he was neither friend or family I think after what they all went through if it was any of the main players it would have said something.

Her name is Cindy she was the flight attendent on 815,she was in the tail section with Ana Lucia,Libby and Bernard.When the tailees met up with Sawyer,Jin, and Michael and went off to meet the lostees she was abducted by the others on the way back to the beach.Hope this helps.

Good point! Jack's father is DEF not out of the picture and I think he will show up at some point this season. They wouldn't have shown us that Claire and Jack share the same father for nothing. I had completely forgotten that!

I think Jack is just being delusional at this point, in the hospital room and at the pharmacy when he was talking about the RX he wanted filled... see all the drugs he is taking ? Notice that the Dr. did not respond to Jack when he said that and Jacks stopped the pharmacist from calling his Dad by walking out. Dad is not there... only in Jacks mind... IMHO.

ALL theorys are good....but what if jack's father really wasnt dead...............what if jack, kate, hugo, AND JACKS FATHER are 4 of 6 people rescued, in that case he would be maybe at the hospital in the future!!
..u never know....

by leaving the island they came back to a different dimention...a time continuim if you will...only six came back and they are in a seperate time.

Did anybody else notice that when they showed Jacob again that he had a striking resemblence to Jack's dad. I am thinking this is the case as he seems to have a connection with almost everyone on the island in the first place. And to the person who said they are guessing that the number 108 is going to come up, it did in season 2 when they had to enter the numbers every 108 minutes.

OK i have one problem with all this jacks dad is alive stuff. My problem is this: if he is in fact alive, which i do not doubt after seeing the screen shots, why would he have a normal life when he returned? Hes hangin out in a freaky cabin with something named Jacob that can do crazt stuff, why would he get off the island and be back to normal?

First is that when Jack meets up with Kate she tells him that she had to get back b/c "he's" going to start to wonder where she went. And Second is that when Jack hands her the obituary and asked her if she knew about it and wanted to go to the funeral, she got this disgusted look on her face and was like why would I go to the funeral? She must have really hated whoever had died to have said that, like Ben or maybe even Locke.

Ah yeah, that is Cindy, the flight attendant, who was with Ana Lucia on the other side of the island; the others took her when they all were walking back to the beach. She is now an other.

Remember when Jack was in the Cage and all the Others were looking at him.Cindy spoke to him and said they were there to watch like it wasa normal thing she looked confused why he started to yell at them all. the 2 kids from tail section were there too. You would think she would be a little more untrusting after what she went through with the tailees,maybe some brainwashing like Carl who knows.

I just joined the site, I am so glad someone else caught the reference to Jacks dad..my husband kept trying to tell me that was a flashback and not a flash forward...I knew I was right..LOL
