freighter folk, radio man and Desmond

I think that the freighter folk work for Penny's father because when the radio guy hears Sayid, i think, refer to Desmond by name, he mentions the incoming calls from Penny and how they werent supposed to answer them. I think that Mr Widmore knows that Penny found Desmond and wants her not to find him, that is what Naomi's mission was since she had the photo of Desmond and Pen.
