Hi! Im new to this forum and want to comment about the latest ep, 5.

This episode was excellent, really great. Left many questions, actually. I mean sure he chosed to contact her. But I mean, why didn't he react so much when she told him that he spoke to charlie earlier, and that about the warning.

What do you think about this?

Also, when Des talked to Penny at the end, I don't think he remembered Charlie or the Looking Glass or the warning or any of that.

The consciousness of 1996 Desmond flashed into the 2004 one, not the other way around.

Well, she told him that charlie told her that he's still alive. And he didn't really react on that. I mean, he doesn't know charlier, and why wouldn't he be alive? et.c

I dunno.

It was a pretty emotional moment, and he still had no idea where he was or what had happened to him the last 3 years. I don't find it that curious.

When Des talked to Penny at the end, he knew that he had found his constant and therefore wasn't going to die of a brain aneurysm. I don't know about you, but I would be pretty happy about the fact that the love of my life loves me and has been looking for me... plus, the bonus that I won't die before I have a chance to see her again.

I was extremely relieved that Desmond wasn't going to die! Phew!

did I miss something? Wasn't Desmond trying to connect with the love of his life, as well as his constant, who will save his life as well as reveal that she too loves him and that the phone is cutting in and out and they didn't know how much time they had left? I think "love" prevailed in this episode, and in the end, Love conquered all. Sorry Charllie!
