I am starting to think that Frank is Bens spy on the boat. Think about it from the beginning- lets say that Ben knew about the crash and put certain people on it. If Frank is a spy for Ben, he could have told him not to take that flight because it was going down. Then, after knowing fully well that the plane wasnt in the ocean he sets himself up to get to go on the freighter to the island, so he can communicate with Ben about who all is coming. I believe all this after the interview with Jeff Fahey saying that "maybe this isnt Franks only island." He also told Sayid to trust him that he was trying to help him, which to me sends the message that Frank doesnt want anything to do with whoever the freighter is working for from taking over the island. Frank could have also just as easily opened the door to let sayid desmond and psycho out. And I also think he damaged the radio equipment so the freighter couldnt get in touch with their boss to let them know whats going on. Anyone else wanna bite at this??
