Is she crazy anyway? If she isn't crazy, then who (or what) is her constant?

i am not sure if she has had the radiation/electromagnetic exposure aswell? or maybe she came in on an okay bearing by fluke?

wouldn't all of the other scientists on her boat have come in on the same bearings?
What could have made her immune?
Alex?

yes but we dont know if they died due to having the same probs as desmond, although it is possible and maybe it was being pregnant that caused immunity.

She's immune because she wasn't exposed to the same level of radiation as Desmond, Minkowski or Daniel.
Her crew's sickness has nothing to do with what' happened to Desmond.
No one else needs a constant.

I would assume that Alex is her constant

I didn't realize that TuesdaySmith and Archangel-Player were already discussing this in The Sickness thread.

Well, I am!:D
That's exactly what they said last night.
I just don't want everyone thinking that every "lostie" needs a constant.
It only happened to desmond because they left slightly off course.
That's why Sayid and the pilot had no problem.
Daniel is fine for now, but he thinks he might need Desmond if when he leaves they are off course.

(we had a spider called hanz once)

I had another thought about the "sickness".
If Rousseau's team had what happened to Desmond, why whould she need to shoot them?
Don't they end up just dying anyway?

she said they started to go crazy i think.

Maybe, but it doesn't make much sense that they got "mind-leapy".
All of them got "sick" one by one. That doesn't sound like what happened to Desmond.

no, i am not embracing the sickness being the same as the time travel side effects theory but its still a possibilty as we dont know enough about the sickness yet to say anything for sure!!

No, your right. There is no way to know that, but to me, they sound like they have nothing in common.
I still think they got driven mad by the numbers being played over the radio waves. They couldn't hear them but their brains intercepted them.
