I chose my mom, since she is a little nuts herself and could trust her to be by the phone in 8 yrs. I think just about every mom would do that. The question is what if your constant is person and dies, then your screwed. What if B & J's go out of business?
I think I would also want a back-up constant or two. Like, a natural landmark, say the grand canyon, which will prob still be there for a while.

It's nice to know you are talked about when not on line. I take it as a wonderful compliment. I also read everyones posts with an accent as well as picture what you may look like LOL That's why I not a fan of people changing their avatars. I loved bunny's original one of the South parkish animation or the motorcycle, because I could better sense a character in my head. Now that I know what Bunny really looks like, it's even cooler.
As for me, I have no accent. I have been told this be people from all over and throughout my military career and beyond. However, i can do a great Brooklyn or Bronx impression. Most people also rarely guess my ethnicity. I've gotten Russian, Lebonese,part native American, part Cuban. LOL
what's funny is that I try to post with a NYC accent when i post or if I'm trying to be funny. I figure If I go over the top and piss people off, then it wasn't me but my rude NYC alter ego. You know what i'm talkin' 'bout, Hey! You gotta a problem wid dat.

I think both NY and Philly have very similar one's, and both are derived from shear crudeness. All right Michigan! Now I don't think people who are from Michigan have an accent at all. The Upper Penisula of Michigan now they have accents. Bunny our state looks like a mitten and then we are conected to the Upper Penisula of Michigan by the Mackinaw Bridge.

Freak, I've lived out that way. that whole area has an accent. I think it's a nice accent, a little nasally and some Canadian mixed in. I thought the accent in Fargo was an extreme version.

Well............ I JUST SAW THE CONSTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Oh my God, what a fantastic one it was! I think it's the first really mind-blowing, hanging on the edge of your seat one of the season, it was just amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very very confusing for my poor little brain but I'm gonna watch it 50 times more! I've said it before and I'll say it again - Desmond episodes are my favourite!

AWWW I fell in love with Desmond in 'Flashes before your eyes' - that episode also blew me away! I'm still very confused about it all but it's just freaky! Just even the first minute of the show when he started going berserk shouting 'Who are you???' to Sayid, sent shivers down my spine!

Everyone has been saying "who will be my constant" since last weeks show. And even I though about it, and had picked people who would be my constant.

But, after further thought about this..... Your constant is someone who cares about you. correct ? Now, we are all lost on some island in the Pacific Ocean. And like Desmond, has some side effects and starts to travel back in time. Now, my constant would be my wife. BUT, 8 years ago, we have a daughter, good times going on, and out of the blue, another me shows up with some stupid story about me being from the future on some island somewhere, all this going on as the other me, from that time, is setting there, looking like, what the hell is going on.....

Just thinking outside the box a little.....

And after furture thought, it's not the other you in '96. Just your '04 mind. So, my wife and daughter would be thinking that I was on something and be freaking them out.....
