just watching jughead where Juliette speaks Latin in 1954, and am wondering how much did juliette know about the temple, dogen, jacob, MIB, smokey, the dirty hot tub...and all the things yet to be revealed?

and also, why did penny suspect that Desmond would go back to the island? i know why WE suspect it, but why does Penny? hint: she is FULL OF IT.

juliette also presumably learned dogen style/other kung fu skills whilst living 3 years on the island. either that or she took some self defence off island

i think juliet would have known a lot more had she not been cast as the lead on "V."

Agree on Penny...

And Juliet knows everything.
She manipulated the losties, and set things in motion, all thru season 5.

But I don't have any doubt about her feelings for Sawyer.
It was when the rest of them showed up, when she took control.

she clearly knew something about RA. she knew latin. she learned other's stuff. how come she never told Sawyer - in all the years they were together- what was up? or did she only know as much information as Ben had and than less than that because he obviously kept her in the dark.

it now seems neither ben nor richard knew a whole lot. but they did know about the temple.

what do you mean she set the events in motion in season 5?

She 'suggested' bring Ben to the temple.
She gave Kate the passwords.
She was the first to shoot the Other in the 'Amy Incident.'

A lot of things transpired because of her actions...

Eh, I don't know. Probably coincidence...

I always wanted to know exactly what Jules meant when she said to Jack, "because if I told you everything I know, you'd kill me."

took the words right out of mouth! OH YEAH! :D
i think, sadly, its one of those things that will remain a mystery. or something to piece together. i bet she knew, though, that none of the people on the island were there by accident. At least she was probably able to deduce that at some point.

Rach, wouldn't you say, though, that Juliet herself was only there because Ben wanted her there? I don't think Jacob actually had her as a candidate, did he?

Interesting similarity between Jacobs 'offer' to her, and his offer to Dogan.

'Stay here, and I'll save your sister's life...'

yep. burke is on the cave wall. go figure!
you can start to see ALL the elements jacob uses to get what he wants. In another thread, i had said maybe MIB made it so there can be no more babies on the island. But, now that you mention this, maybe even jacob did it as a way of starting to put plans in motion to get juliette there. *shrug* we are in the dark about the ends and means of Mib/jacob.

yep. sure is!
but do you think it was Jacob or just Ben kind of speaking in advance, assuming that Jacob would, in fact, do it? just wondering...

oh! thats a good one!!! i totally forgot about it AND they made it seem like it was all ben. but NOW it makes sense as something that fits Jacob's modus operandi.

Oh! See, I never realized her name was also on the wall. hmmm...

but regarding the no babies issue, how come then did Richard say Ben should be concerned more with more important things (like the baby issue wasn't important )??

Yeah, we really knew very little, if anything, about Jacob at that time, right?

I don't know who, did what...

But, boy oh boy ... it's a big of a coincidence, isn't it?!?

Juliet remains a favorite character of mine. I fully believe she was helping James and company as best she could. What if we get yet another view of her falling scene, and see Jacob placing the chains on that drum?

love and miss jules terribly. last night watching jughead, when she came out behind sawyer during the gun stand off with ellie, farady and sawyer and said "why don't we all put our guns down" i realized how much i missed her and her voice of reason. best lost female character ever.

Jules def had smarts.
And she was almost ALWAYS calm during that entire time travel season!

I know. never a screech or a ridiculous action. level headed, strong, yet feminine and vulnerable. damon and carlton's one female victory. :)
