At the end of the Sun/Jin episode, Hurley came to see Sun. For probably two minutes I somehow thought that Sun and Hurley were romantically entagled. "Hun"???
What are things you have misunderstood from LOST that were really funny???
Also, in the last episode, when the kids said "Uncle Sayid!" I thought: So in this new reality sayid and Nadia are... Brother and Sister????? Creeeepy....

In 316 (I believe) Ben tells Mrs Hawking that he "lost Rayus tonight."
I was like "whoa, who is this Rayus guy?!?"
Until I realized it was Hugo Reyes.
I was buzzed, leave me alone.:D

My dad thought that when Charlie turned the handle to flush his drugs, that that was the reason the plane crashed.

Jack and Sarah's wedding vows - hers started so weird, I was thinking she was never going to get to the "because I love him" part and was only going to keep talking about how he saved her, at which point I expected a perplexed Jack to back out right there at the alter.

Once again, perplexed angry Jack makes a decision.

I was convinced that Rousseau had a child already when she landed on the island her SON Alex and was pregnant with a baby she lost, and that the others stole her SON Alex. I argued with my family & friends about it for weeks. :o

I actually thought Ben was a bad guy when we first saw him as Not-Henry.
Imagine! :D

After watching the first two seasons I was foolish enough to believe that Walt had something to do with the final storyline and all his flashbacks and mysteriousness would actually lead to something.
I was so young and naive back in those days.

We were such fools. The same goes for Abadon.
Just when it was you think that you're finally going to get some answers....BOOM, Ben shoots him in the back. WTF!!!
I think we're seeing a common theme with those of an African persuasion on Lost.
Bea Kluch, the (br)other that Claire Axed, even poor Rose now has cancer again.

Same went for Caesar, just when you thought the character was going to get interesting...BOOM.
I think it's actually Michael Emerson. Concerned about other character's getting more attention than his.

Walt...
*sigh*
What an absolute waste he turned out to be. And then they even brought him back for an episode or two, and it was perfect because the Oceanic 6 were off the island for 3 years so the actor was the right age for the character...but still nothing happened. I'm not bitter about it though - even though, like you, I believed that Walt would be the most important character, even going so far to believe that he brought the polar bear to the island.

I thought the same about the polar bear and his comics. It was so interesting and then a growth spurt forced it in another direction.

I did too. I thought that he took some spiders off the Island and they bit him.... I was so sure of it and would make sence now why they had to show Nikki and Paulo.. but then I learned that Ben hung him..... maybe the spaiders saved him.... then Ilana dumped that create on the beach for all to see.... I must have held on to that theroy all the way to the end of the Incident.
But in the end had nothing to do with Nikki and Paulo which mean those actors were paid good money for bad acting and bragging rights that they had a whole episode on Lost, and mean while there are staving people in the world that TPTB could've donated the money to....Man I'm pissed!
At the end of the Sun/Jin episode, Hurley came to see Sun. For probably two minutes I somehow thought that Sun and Hurley were romantically entagled. "Hun"???
This scene always struck me as strange as well. When Hurley asks if anyone else is coming and Sun says "no," Hurley responds with a creepy "goooood!" That is only said when you want to be alone with a woman. And why wouldn't the other losties want to visit Jin's grave anyway? Something was definitely up with that scene.

I kept reading rumors that Claire would fall to her death in that helicopter.
I kept waiting...
Now Claire is hella-crazy!

I know! What was up with that??? I guess he was just trying to act positive.
That whole episode confused me. I didn't get the whole flash-forward/flashback mix thing, and thought that Jin and Sun had split up.

It's so fun to visit these old threads. I can't believe we wrote this almost a year ago. But then again, I totally didn't remember that I commented on this thread at all, LoL. :)

It is weird how you can go back and totally not remember saying that or even having that line of thought on some of these threads. Fun memories thanks Jelena.

You're welcome Stream. You're so right. Even that line of thought seems far away, like it belongs to someone else.
