Definitely a dream come true. All the answers will be put into a single book...an encyclopedia actually. How amazing is that? Check the news for more info:

Wow. Thats pretty cool. I wonder if its just gonna be Lostepidia in book form or if it'll actually give answers to unanswered questions. Regardless I'. gonna get it too but I'm just thinking out loud...

I actually believe it give out unaswered questions. YOu know those little details that some of us wonder about that we probably won't get the answer to? I don't know. It is really my hope though. 400 pages sounds a little more than the Lostpedia in a book...or does it?

SOunds like it will have some previously unknown info in it....

Key sentence...

"DK Publishing announced today that the company will publish the first officially licensed encyclopedia to LOST"

Which means we could get answers to all the little things. I'm wondering if Lindelof and Cuse are involved.

Is the Lostpedia licensed though? Thats what it could mean. Apart from that I am pretty sure Lindelof and Cuse are involved, Lost is their little baby. Who knows more than them?

As a person who has a Star Trek Encyclopedia, I think having a Lost Encyclopedia is a wonderful idea.

Your probably right. Like I said I was just thinking out loud... I'm more excited for this than the complete series dvds. lol

Nope, Lostpedia is fan created and fan managed. 90% of Lostpedia is likely accurate, but it can't fill in any unknowns without guessing - so hopefully this official encyclopedia will do that.

I will only get it if it's TPTB endorsed.

I'm with you there, John. Otherwise, it could just be some jamoke's ideas on everything. I read those here on the forum all the time. LOL! :D
