I noticed in a few of the flashback army sequences there was a guy talking with Des who was also on the boat with Des and Sayid in 2004. Can anyone confirm.

I thought they might be the same guy too, but I have nothing to back this up. Can anyone prove this isn't a group hallucination?

Do you have something you're basing that on, or are you just agreeing with our collective hunch?

I have the episode on iTunes but really don't feel like watching the whole thing through again lol, if someone could tell me approximately when this guy appears and I'll have a look.

i have checked it out but i swear it is not him....keamy is from vegas and the other guy is scotish sounding....does not look the same....i have played back that military guy and when he comes out of the phone booth he DEFINITELY bumps into des on purpose and then he makes a brief statement but i can't tell what he is saying....did anyone catch it?

Oh if the guy you're talking about here is Keamy than no, he's definately not in the camp with Des. I recognized the actor who plays Keamy from another movie and would have recognized him in the camp too.

When the soldier bumps into Desmond near the phone booth he mutters something to the effect of "Thanks for getting us all those extra situps, *******". Not those words by any means lol, but that's essentially what he says in however the Scottish would phrase that.

He says "thanks for this morning Hume" because of all of the extra work.
