View Full Version : LOST alarm MP3's - new
I've managed to find a bunch of different LOST sound files across the Internet, but none of them contained the full LOST Swan Dharma station alarm sequence. All the separate bits were there, they just needed to be assembled in the right way. I used Audacity's multi-track feature. It's not "precisely" as you might have heard it on the series, but I think it's pretty close.
Here's two versions for you:
1. LOST Theme, with Swan Dharma station alarm sequence (http://www.4shared.com/account/file/245077511/6b418e5e/Lost_Theme_Swan_Alarm-108.html)
2. Swan Dharma station alarm sequence (http://www.4shared.com/account/file/245067923/9a186c65/Swan_System_Alarm108.html)
You can load one of these onto your cellphone for the novelty, or for an alarm (probably too annoying for a ringtone. ;) )
Enjoy!

Yeah, it would be annoying for a ring tone, but I thought about it for a sec! Thanks MYU.
Yeah, definitely not good for a ringtone, but certainly works as an alarm. I have a Tuesday scheduler entry on my cellphone for LOST and use this alarm sound file for it. Geeky, I know... but fun. ;)

Those are fantastic! Thanks, MYU. How would you upload that to your phone? I would love to do that but I don't have a clue how. My bluetooth on my phone has some funky factory set password that I've never been able to crack so that won't work for me. :(
Is there another way other than through blue tooth? I have a USB cord for my cell. Would that work?

Really nice. I have an alarm here at work that goes off once every 60 minutes (yeah i.e. on the hour.) I may trade it off for one of these.

Hi Lissa, a lot of this depends upon your phone and your provider. Some phones allow you to insert a Micro SD memory card and load MP3's from it to your phone. Another possibility is to use a website that will send attachments to your phone. It'll depend upon your cellular provider and if you have a data plan, too. For instance, with Sprint you can use Rumkin (http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/). The file is uploaded to their website and sent to your phone or you use a browser to go to the website to retrieve the file using a code given after the upload.
Sorry if what I said is confusing... unfortunately, cellular providers still make decent money from people buying ringtones so they make it cumbersome (or sometimes impossible) to get your own MP3's into your phone memory.

:p Definitely geeky.
:p Definitely geeky.
Yeah, but it's kinda hard not to find geekiness around the LOST crowd, y'know? ;)
