It's not perfect, but it's my first time trying to make something with one of these programs. This one seems a lot easier to use than most I've tried, and what's good about it is that it is free and you can use it however you like. If any of you want to give it a shot, you can find it here:

Very cool, Jeremy. :) Looks like a useful modeling program. I wonder--is there any copy/paste functionality? I was thinking you could have just copied those cylinders along the side and just repositioned with each paste, if that function exists.

Would be pretty wild if you could make movable components on an object... so on the hatch underside you'd see "QUARANTINE" when opened. ;)

lol yeah I realized I could have done that just five minutes after making the video. I felt really stupid. As far as moving objects or animations or anything like that, you could ask the guy who made it by clicking the other link I posted. Seems he plans on making another version, so perhaps it'll happen.

that is good and your stick - to - it - iveness is very impressive - these are really hard, I tried to make a kaiyak on one of those things once,and bearly got a potato chip
