Purple light

So we know that the light Dan shone on Heloise was purple just like the light that came from the hatch that imploded when Des turned the failsafe key.

When Dan asked Jack if Des had been exposed to radiation or electromagneticsm, why doesn't Jack explain the impolsion?

He knew full well about the magnetism in there.

OK....u got me...i must have had a narcolepsy moment cuz i didn't notice the purple light of rad on the rat with daniel.....maybe jack didn't notice cuz the sound was so piercing that they had their heads down......yes he is aware of the EM with the hatch and all but maybe he is slow and hasn't put it together....i mean...obv he is slow...ur rite

Jack is slow? He made it thru med school and was supposedly a brilliant surgeon.

hey unknown....jj...i can't think of why he wouldn't have caught that one.....i mean he was there for the des and daniel conversation....why he didn't say anything is beyond me...don't forget ...i'm a nurse and doctors can be geniuses but there are some who are "flaky" and "out there".....i was just giving a smart answere....talking out loud..

I saw that too! And I thought maybe Minkowski and his pal went out towards the island when the purple boom happened... but he never mentioned it...

Anyway, I think Jack just maybe didn't make the connection.
