S4 so far

OK I know people have strong feelings both ways on a number of characters and topics and episodes etc.

So far my thinking this season is that your enjoyment is going to be directly related to how much you like star trek and the like.

I mean there are things I like about it so far but there are others that are not doing it for me.

How do you rank this season so far?

its hard to judge because each season has a different story to tell. even though its all part of one big overall story.

You are right. It is almost like each one is a different show with the same characters and some settings.

Personally I hope they get more into the Widmores and Hansos soon

After all the stuff we have been seeing I was SOOO happy to see Widmore and the Hanso auction. I hope this is just the start of this subplot.

I'm not positive, but I thought that the creators said that Hanso/Dharma Initiative/ and presumably Widmore would not be addressed until a later season? They said that this is the season of the freighter crew. But, I suppose, since the freighter crew is so far seemingly very connected to all these groups, I guess what they mean is that they won't get into the real flesh of the involvement of these "higher powers" until a future season.

Well at least it was nice to see a little bit of what is coming I guess.

BTW has anyone heard something about there being a band of inbred hillbillies aboard teh freighter? I am not kidding that I heard this someplace.

I've said it's my second best - cos the third season is my absolute favourite! Just seeing the workings of Ben and the Others was brilliant! I think I should have put it as my third best though because I love the first season too, and we're not far into the fourth season, but the episodes so far have been very hard on the brain, with more questions than answers and no fun, less brain power episode yet. I find the time travel thing very hard to understand so I need more! The Constant was amazing, and completely blew my mind, but left me more confused than ever as to what's really going on here!

i agree with TQ....the third season is by far my fav with getting to see the others and losties mesh together:) Season 4 though is catching up fast and has hope of being the best....the constant being the best epi so far...finally we have a CLUE what is going on:P

i think this season is the second best, cus third season was rely good, lots of info, nd excitment. i think this season is very good so far tho....

Yes, we're only a few episodes in on the fourth season so we can't judge properly yet, but I think there was a more human side to season three, so more watchable. And more comedy too - Sawyer's one-liners at the start of the season about needing a blow-dry etc were so funny! And seeing more of Ben was fantastic, he's one of my favourites. This season it's more serious and harder to understand! What will season 5 be like? :D

I have to say this last ep. was so much better, I loved it. it's just that after every episode i was like, "oh..." I do like some of the science stuff, a lot better than i'm liking the insanities that are going on between the characters in island time and flash forwards. I know it's going to get better, they just had to, you know get some stuff done in the first few ep. and I'm sure some people have liked things so far just fine.
