Does everyone remember the boy who appeared in the jungle to MiB and Sawyer earlier this season? Given what we've seen about Jacob v. MiB in Ab Aeterno, etc. does anyone have any fresh thoughts on who that boy was?

No clue here at this point. I imagine we will find out later. Perhaps when they reveal what the rules are all about.

That is the first thing that popped into my head when I thought about it after tonight's episode too. Could be?

this has something to do with this.....i do wonder who the kid is??? but people dont talk about this but when we see the kid in the jungle the first time he has something all over is arms and hands......blood maybe or mud.....looks like bloood ....so what do u think about that as well as who is this kid??

I know this is old news, but Sawyer SAW this kid! He wasn't a foreboding recollection by the MiB, you know, like a bad daydream that startles you. That boy was THERE. Standing there in front of both of them, and ran. When I look at screenshots of the boy again and consider that he reminded MiB not to forget the rules, that MiB can't kill "him" (Sawyer), I'm very tempted to think of him as Young Jacob or someone closely related to Jacob.
