no one asked me to, but I have to say sorry to the forum. Last night I got a good old smack on the rump from the admins here for being a damn spoiler. I really never realized what a bad forum member I seem to be. Can't even follow some simple rules, and I love the ordered constructive conversations that forums bring. I'm not a stickler for rules, but in private forum I believe very heavily in the principal of having a strong rule system.

I posted a few things and I was not thinking at all when I did. Some of it was genuine spoiler information that I had read and mixed in with my posts, like upcoming show titles and the centric nature of epi. I didn't really get talked to about it a couple of weeks ago when I started doing it, but after talking with Lisa I realized what I was doing. I'm not all that sure how I could have been so dense about that.

I sincerely hope that I didn't ruin any of the fun of this show for any forum members. I would really hate that if someone did it to me.

Two of the things in question were just guesses that seem to be right (don't look for them they are gone now), but without any way to verify what I have or have not read at other locations the admins were very justified in assuming the worst. I have no clue what else will turn out to be right so, for now, since I simply cannot tell what will come to pass and what wont, and because there is no way of them knowing what I have or haven't read elsewhere, I'll be staying completely out of the Season 1 - 6 sections. That's just best for me and for the forum members. After the series is over there will be plenty to theorize and speculate upon.

A special apology to Lisa and any other mods or admins that actually had to do extra work to clean up after me. They work hard enough and I hate to think that I pushed anyone's buttons.

Dont sweat it too much. i accidentally did it a while back and not even realizing it.

I am pretty much safe this season because I dont frequent any SPOILER sections. The only thing I ever do that may be considered a SPOILER by some is after the weeks episode airs I watch the previews for the following weeks episode.

Czech, you're just fine, no worries! I appreciate the gesture very much but there are no hard feelings at all. I know that you understand and I have no reason to believe that anything was intentional at all, nor am I concerned that it will happen again. I know that you get it and I know that you respect the other members on the board and their choice to read or not to read spoilers. As I said yesterday, that is all that I can ask but my hope is that everyone can enjoy themselves on this forum as we wrap up this crazy show. :)

but I'll tell you what, I'm mearly going to refrain from any speculation. I can't remember everything that I've read or talked about with my friends or at other Lost sources, since I can't remember for sure what comes from where, the only way I can prevent myself from spoiling, even by accident is just not to speculate on things. Even if I did, and I didn't have prior knowledge, there would be no way for the forum to know that. I'd look like a schmuck again. I don't particularly care to look like a schmuck. :)
I was very upset with myself last night when I watch the epi and saw Desmond come out of the sub. I knew I must have posted something, but I couldn't figure out what. It was a head slapper. So I'm limiting myself so that I don't feel bad. I accept that you don't think that I was intentionally doing anything wrong and that's really nice of you, but what I'm doing is just for me and your members so you'll just have to deal with it for six weeks. Seriously it's no biggie.

So I'll recind what I said above and say that I'm just not going to talk about anything that could in the slightest bit, possibly be, a spoiler. Any comments I make will mearly be friendly. No speculation from me. It's only 6 weeks. I don't need to speculate at this point. I can keep those speculations in PM or in the spoiler section.

nope, you're wrong there. I've only read about 3 (edit: maybe 8 now that I think back) things of interest in spoilers and then I've seen a bunch of pod casts from TPTB (which really dont' give away much). But the point is, no one here knows that and I can't prove it. Speculation is educated guess work. If I guess correctly, then the site MUST assume that I'm spoiling and must punish me again. I'm not willing to go through another temporary ban for mental masterbation. . which is really all speculation is at this point in the series.
Just let me be the way I am for Jacob's sake. I don't want people telling me that I should speculate, or that I'm wrong for taking the stance that I am, because I've thought long and hard about it and decided that it is the only reasonable course of action for me.
You can disagree all you like, and it's nice of you to say and try to support me, but you can't change my mind on this course of action.
