can what is going on in the show now be the present and the future the flash forwards, or is the 'present' now the flash backs and the flash forwards are what is happening 'now'? just wondering....

i think that the present is the island and the flash forwards are looking into the future of the losties....the flash backs are their past to shine more light on their characters.....omg...sorry...had to read that a few times...i prob need to go to sleep...hehe
