Did anyone notice the reference to Torvald Hanso in the auction? Pennys father was bidding on the first mates journal from the black rock, which was the ship that crashed on the island. The only person who know the contents are the Hanso's, and pennys dad since he won the auction. when desmond talks to penny at the end, penny says something he cant hear. is this how she knows about the island?

There are several threads about this-Hanso's family ties to the Black Rock, Widmore's connection to the Hanso Foundation and the Dharma Initiative. I think she knows about the island b/c when the hatch imploded, something triggered on the radar and her guys called her in the middle of the night to tell her they found him. That's why I think she's funded her own private search party, outside of her father's, who prolly is funding the freighter.

Two very interesting things about that manifest:

1. Adam Monroe is on the NBC series Heroes, he is the immortal bad guy.

2. Thomas Mettlewerk: Very interesting here because he is in the Lost video game. He steals data and nerve gas from the Hanso Foundation who is doing research in controlling the brain. He sells it to a guy named Savo who is doing research in ESP.

Which now makes me think: The Hanso Foundation is funding the Dharma Initiative. Maybe this Savo guy's company is behind the hostiles since they are stealing corporate secrets from each other?

Is that a real list of the ships crew? Seems too coincidental that there is a Richard Alpert, Daniel Farraday and a Miles Strom. Not sure if I am buying this.

It all seems to be getting like highlander lol. there can be only one! and that should be Richard. i cant see Daniel or Miles being immortal. least i hope not. looking at the crew list though i have to say its not official

My spy at ABC has informed me that the list is a fake one and should not be considered canon.

Actually, I don't have a spy, but somebody here mentioned that the list was simply created by a fan, and really is not part of the proper LOST mythos. But it's a cool concept though.

According to the Lost Experience game Mettlewerk flat out says Hanso funded DHARMA.

Daniel Linderman is also a guy from heroes season 1, so i'm guessin that site is just some fan messing around. Plus the site has hundreds of spelling mistakes so doesnt look very official.
