I was thrilled to see him....altho Jack is my fav....I love charlie..and when he died...I said I was going to quit watching....hahahha

Ive never seen Alice in wonderland....I had Rylie sat and put in the movie...really wanted to watch it un-interrupted but that didnt happen...so I will have to watch again..

It's a really great movie (the Disney cartoon). One of my favs and my kids too! :)

That's what Charlie was trying to make Des understand when he steered the car into the lake. He said it's not real. Mib is doing it. When they finally all wind up at the hospital they're going to figure it out and that will be the end of them. (The F S's)

Yeah, I don't understand this either. I think that the alt timeline is exactly what t has been said to be: the result of Jughead. The reason Desmond, Charlie, Daniel, Jack, etc. are havng "deja vu" is because this new timeline branched off from the original. You could think of it as a father wanting to pass on a few things to his son.

What is dead? Locke was dead, Ben should have died. Sayid was dead. Jacob is dead. Dead is not dead. I do not personally adhire to an afterlife, but in this show it is obvious that both alternate realities and/or an afterlife are in play. That being the case, and with resurection being on the table, DEAD IS NOT DEAD.

Besides we all know that MIB scans people for their memories and then creates complex illusions based upon those scans. There is nothing to say that he could not bring Charlie's personality back to life.

I don't think that this is exactly what's going on though. It's not MIB's doing or the Charlie dopleganger never would have led Des down the path he did tonight. MIB would be in control and would prevent Des from seeing what he didn't want Des to see. It's a constructed reality, of that I'm now convinced, but I don't think that it's exactly constructed by MIB.

Sideline note: Keep in mind that Des was out for a few seconds, but had days worth of memories IMO. It could very well be that our "sideways" is the last second of everyone's life on earth, a mass illusion that takes place just before MIB destroys everything that exists. It could, for the characters, take YEARS to play out, but in truth, take place in no time at all.

That doesn't explain everything that we've been shown. It certainly does not explain Ellie's mysterious statement to Des at the end of "Happily ever after".

But we have to remember that she still has the same past her other self does, before the split occured in 1977. Perhaps being an Other, she's more privvy to information about time and all. Plus, she had Daniel's notebook full of complicated equations.

And perhaps some are more "in tune" with their alternate selves.

I think my point was that she doesn't necessarily have that past at all. It could be, as I'm still trying to sort out the exact course of events that led to a couple peices of the puzzle, but I don't think that every change we see stems from 1977.

not just any Hobbit, but Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck, the "rockstar" of hobbits if you will. He's the kind of hobbit that wrecks the hotel room because he's having too much fun to notice.

and if you didn't see LOtR, I'm very sorry for you. Please do rent it, or better, read it then rent it. The trilogy is a fantastic adaptation of a wonderful set of books. . and the basis for most fantasy fiction that you'll read or watch.

I thought Merry was the boring one of the bunch and Pippin was much more entertaining, plus the wig does nothing for Dominic at all lol.

Love the films, but see the extended versions even better!
