View Full Version : V the original series here
I just got this ordered the complete set, mini series, final battle and series for a whopping £16,95!!
Its a bit dated but so is old Dr Who, its still a classic though and I can't view the new series as a comparison, if they had done it as a story for a second resisitance group it would probably have been plausable...

I watched the original way back in 1984 and it was very good for that time.
The present show is also very good for this time, especially love that Elizabeth Mitchel got the lead role and she plays it well.
My set came today, something to look forward to when Lost is over...:)

It was 1978 when i saw it, just in high school and rapt that i could actually stay up real late and still survive for school the next morning lol (i was 11)

I loved the original! Of course I did have a huge crush on Marc Singer when I was a little girl.
Still love Beast Master.

It was epic, for it's time. I remember the big deal of Freddie Krueger being one of the visitors...hehe not so much of a big deal now huh?
Trying to watch the new one. Not sure yet...
I loved Robert Englunds character in it, I think its one of the reasons i watched it, that and Robin and the v solder and the pregnancy... Robert Singer too :D
I'm getting into the new series now, but i've not seen it as a remake, i've focused on it as a new sci fi show and it worked that way. Although it would have been a better idea if they had done it perhaps, from an alternate part of america and for us to assume the rebels we knew as Singer etc were doing their bit elsewhere...

Rumor has it that Diana (Jane Badler) is Anna's mother.
