In the bible (they have done several biblical references in this show...) Jacob has a son named Benjamin... whose mother, Rachel, died after giving birth to him. Scholars argue that his name either means "Son of my pain" or "Son of my right hand".
We all know Ben's biological father was Roger and that his mother died after giving birth. However, Ben claims to have been born on the island (and he 'never' lies). What if he was 'reborn' on the island as the son of Jacob?
(To Roger, Ben is the son of his pain, but to Jacob he is the son of his right hand, his main man.)
Benjamin also died without ever having committed a sin (in the bible), could this be a reference to Ben never lying?
