Not Just About the FS

Some think that the point that TPTB had when they said that some will be disappointed with how they plan on telling the final season only related to the FS story.

So far I have seen people not satisfied with the answer for how the statue was destroyed or Flocke admitting he was Christian to jack.

Maybe these are the answers and as TPTB said that because some fans did not think it was gong to be this way or what they thought should happen would be disappointed.

I think we are seeing examples other the FS. And as there is the thought that Smokey lied about this explanation and will be explained more in detail at some other point, I feel the same way about the FS story. It hasnt been completed yet so what the FS is really still needs to be explained, completely.

People are going to be disappointed because we all have 6 years worth of theories and notions built up in our heads. For instance i always believed that Christian was leading Jack to that cliff that he fell off.

The people who are going to be the most disappointed though are the ones with the most complex (convoluted?) theories.

Well I wasnt singling her, out believe it or not, I just see a lot of people not pleased with what the answers given so far and it is a lot more than just the FS stuff, which really hasnt been fully answered otherwise it wouldnt still be going on

But I am not immune to this point either. Not even talking about FS stuff. I am talking about answers we were given about things like why Lapidus wasnt on that flight or why Christian was wearing white sneakers for his funeral.

I never came up with a theory for those things but found the answers to be bland at best.

Michael's explanation about the whispers was sooooooo lame, same with Jack's convo w/MiB re: Christian. I just wanted something not so scripted, I guess.

That is what i think the main beef is with some people. that the answers are too obvious and people want the same mystery as before. this is the final season, so they have to just throw them at us like that imo. too many people would not get it if they didnt just have one charecter ask another" so the whispers are the dead that cant leave" "yes". otherwise this season would be nothing but "give us your top 17 questions and we will spend an hour on each". lol. that would be nice and all, but they have alot of ground to cover in a limited time. so the obvious has to be now.

Yeah, I know, and I have friends and family that aren't as fanatical about LOST as we all are, they think the answers are fine and don't get my disilluisionment at all. My point being that TPTB have dumbed down lost for the not so serious fans.
With all that said, I am not on the bashing band wagon, still love it and will watch and rewatch and rewatch some more.

yes, I get that impression myself, but since there is such a limited time to do it better (like maybe someone accidentally coming across something that gives them the revelation ... or whatever) then I think they have no choice but to "spoon feed" certain answers to us the way they are doing. It does seem a bit elementary and like a 5th grader could write those parts of the scripts, but it's ok... It's still our beloved LOST ... you know? WE HEART LOST NO MATTER WHAT! :):)

I can totally see Smoke lying, would not surprise me a bit. I agree the FS needs to be fully explained otherwise it is just filler.
